G. Heileman Brewing Company of La Crosse, Wisconsin was an American staple since 1858. It was the 4th largest brewery in the '80s. Brands included Colt 45, Old Style, Becks, Blatz, Ranier, and many others.
They were a proud sponsor of the Chicago Cubs and still hold claim to the largest 6 pack in the world.
Unfortunately with legal issues regarding the Sherman Antitrust Act, their expansion was stifled and the Heileman family was leveraged out in 1985.
This was used in the 1970s- early 1980s by this iconic brand. Whether you are collecting for nostalgia or for value this piece is for you.
