"King" Edmund Cole o Edmund "King" Cole fue un famoso barón ladrón que unió los ferrocarriles del sur en una red cohesiva y también incorporó Tennessee al sistema. Después de vender el ferrocarril en 1880, fundó el American National Bank. Era todo un personaje y, como se puede esperar de cualquiera con el apodo de "Rey".
