Antique Vintage Kamm's Ale Label made by Kamm and Schellenger Company out of Mishawaka, Indianapolis, 1930s

4 1/4 " x 3" ~

This is a really gorgeous label with the knights in shining armor on horses. The label is lithography which was pretty much phased out by the end of the 1930s as there were cheaper ways to print at that point. I don't think any of the newer printing ways will ever match what lithography can do.

This American Icon company closed its doors permanently in 1951 after opening in the late 1800s. This particular beer they sold from 1933 - 1951 when they closed. The building they brewed in is still used today retaining some of the original items inside and is visited by tourists and has shops and offices. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Beer and alcohol label antique and vintage advertising with their wonderful graphics make them very collectible. They are a reminder of a bygone era and a huge part of American history. Museums and Art Institutes have galleries dedicated to them and more and more of them and collectors are seeking these out to preserve the history. Once the limited supply for sale is gone and on display with collectors or in galleries then they will be very difficult to acquire.

Imagine this vintage advertising hanging on your wall as home decor in any room!
