The sticker runs the CA halo roundel and \u003cstrong\u003eCALIFORNIA ANGELS\u003c\/strong\u003e in red across navy, red and cream stripes, with the Genuine Merchandise seal again down at the right end. It's about 11 by 3 inches and has never been near a bumper.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003e🗓️ How the Logo Dates It\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere's no date printed anywhere on it, but the logo tells you. The club played as the California Angels from 1965 to 1996, and this CA-with-the-halo version was only used from 1993 to 1996. In 1997, with Disney running the club, they became the \u003cstrong\u003eAnaheim Angels\u003c\/strong\u003e, and the California name and this logo went into the history books.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003e🏭 Made in Buffalo\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTRENCH in the header is the Trench Manufacturing Co. of Buffalo, New York, which George A. Trench started in 1920 making felt pennants and pillow tops for schools and tourist spots. By the mid-1930s it was turning out pennants for National and American League clubs, and Buffalo got called the pennant capital of the world. Trench closed in 1995 after 75 years, so with a logo that only arrived in 1993, this sticker came off the line in that company's last few years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003e🤠 Gene Autry's Angels\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Angels were Gene Autry's team. The Singing Cowboy got the American League's new Los Angeles franchise in 1961, moved it to Anaheim, and owned it until Disney took over in the late 1990s.
