Rare Vintage 1960s—1970s United Aircraft Corporation Stock Certificate, a Russian Company for military and civilian aircraft. With the new world drama, marked by significant geopolitical and technological shifts, these certificates represent a crucial era in aviation history and will be valuable pieces of this historical puzzle.

12" x  8 1/4" ~ little to no wear.

My pictures seriously can't do it justice! This is a truly rare find, as these certificates are extremely limited. The PJSC United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) (Russian: Объединённая авиастроительная корпорация, romanized: Obyedinyonnaya Aviastroitelnaya Korporatsiya [OAK]) is a Russian aerospace and defense corporation. With a majority stake belonging to the Russian government, it consolidates Russian private and state-owned aircraft manufacturing companies and assets engaged in manufacturing, designing, and selling military, civilian, transport, and unmanned aircraft. Its corporate office is at Leningradsky Avenue, Khoroshyovsky District, Moscow.

Imagine adorning your wall with this vintage historic collectible, a tangible connection to the past in any room of your home! Stock certificates, like this one, are a limited supply, and once they find their way into museums and collections, they become increasingly difficult to obtain. These are not just historic documents, but a part of a rich history that dates back to the first stock certificate issued in 1606 by the Dutch East India Company. Four hundred seven years of history later, the Walt Disney Company issued one of the last paper stock certificates from a major corporation in 2013.

These certificates are printed on heavy paper stock, akin to a dollar bill but stiffer and more durable, ensuring they stay vibrant and new for a long time. The unique feature of stock certificates is the variety of exciting signatures they bear, often including those of the company President and Secretary. Some collectors delve into the historical significance of these signatures, adding significant provenance and value to an already valuable item. I, for one, have never attempted this as deciphering a signature from over 100 years ago is no easy task.
