Vintage Navy Sailor Duck Tin Clicker Noisemaker 1950s 🦆

This Vintage Navy Sailor Duck Tin Clicker Noisemaker from the 1950s is a charming collectible, measuring 2 1/2" x 1 1/4". Made in Japan during the post-WWII era, this sailor duck is in great condition and perfect for any collector or lover of vintage items.

Following WWII, Japan began producing dime-store collectibles like this one, which were then imported as part of General Douglas MacArthur's recovery plan. This little clicker is so adorable & brings back memories of when I worked with exotic animals. We used these clickers to help the animals learn behaviors so when they heard the clicker they knew a treat was coming. I got this clicker as a gift for a friend who collects tin litho toys. He also did not get this item but I fought back the tears & gave him his antique clicker. Sniff. Will have to order a new one for myself. This company is awesome to work with. Hope he has more clickers!
