Very Rare Vintage Tin Lithography Special Police Badge Plorham Park Police New Jersey 1950s ~
These are very well made out of a beautiful tin litho front and thick plastic back and they look amazing!
Badge 1 1/2" ~ Card 4" x 2 1/4" ~
Interesting note: Plorham Park appears it might have been located near Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ but either succumbed to urban expansion or has been renamed. Unless the company who made these misspelled Florham Park which would be really comical and I am sure must have been corrected if so making these even more unique if that's the case.
This is a very rare find made in the 1950s as part of the Japanese rebuilding project General Macarthur ran.
My mother and I bought the remaining supply of these 15 years ago or so and can't believe I found these in a box unsold still. My mom still amazes me two years after her passing as she must have found more or hid these away because I remember us selling out of so many of these in 2007.
Be careful as I have seen a lot of listing using this card with a random badge attached that isn't the correct badge type this company made. It's very obvious also as the badges they affix to the card are so much bigger than the card and cover the words and pictures which no company would ever do.
Imagine if you could be satisfied and content with your purchase. That can very much be your reality with the Vintage Tin Litho Special Police Badge Plorham Park Police NJ 1950s.
