This exquisite piece of tobacco history is not just a label; it's a window into the golden age of cigar craftsmanship. Dating back to the early 1900s - 1920s, this vintage cigar label showcases a breathtaking merchant's queen motif that exudes elegance and sophistication. The intricate embossing technique, often utilizing real gold flakes, brings the design to life with a tactile brilliance that modern printing simply cannot replicate.

Measuring 8 1/2" x 6", this antique vintage cigar label is the perfect size to make a bold statement in any room. Imagine the conversations it will spark as guests marvel at this stunning piece of Americana adorning your wall! As you examine this remarkable artifact, you'll notice the impeccable craftsmanship that has allowed it to withstand the test of time. The heavy paper stock used in its creation has preserved the vibrant colors and intricate details, ensuring that this piece looks as fresh and captivating as the day it was produced. While there is a slight discoloration on the right-side edge, it's barely noticeable and unlikely to detract from the overall beauty when framed.

This embossed cigar label is more than just a collectible; it's a tangible link to a bygone era of American advertising artistry. The lithography and embossing techniques employed in its creation represent a lost art form that reached its pinnacle in the early 20th century. Museums and art institutes have recognized the cultural importance of these labels, dedicating entire galleries to their preservation and display.

As an astute collector, you understand that the supply of these vintage treasures is finite. Once they find their way into private collections or museum exhibits, acquiring such a remarkable piece becomes increasingly challenging. By adding this embossed cigar label to your collection, you're not only securing a piece of history but also preserving the legacy of the talented, yet often unrecognized, artists who poured their creativity into these miniature masterpieces.

Don't miss this opportunity to own a genuine piece of American advertising history. Make it the crown jewel of your collection today and experience the thrill of owning a truly unique piece of tobacco memorabilia!

Slight discoloration on the right-side edge. Please see the pictures, unlikely to see it in a frame, but please judge for yourself.

Amazing Gold embossed label. Most companies at the time used real gold flakes in the embossing.

Imagine hanging this over 100-year-old antique advertising on your wall as home decor in any room!

Cigar labels show you what antique advertising is all about with the wonderful graphics that lithography and embossing provided that modern printing just can't reproduce. This was mostly a lost art after the 1920s, unfortunately. Cigar Labels are a reminder of a bygone era, but the amazing lithography process is unparalleled even to this day in my opinion. Museums and Art Institutes have galleries dedicated to them, and more and more collectors are seeking these out to preserve their history. Once the limited supply for sale is gone and on display with collectors or in galleries, then they will be very difficult to acquire.

My pictures seriously don't do it justice. These had to be done on heavy paper stock, which makes them stay vibrant and new-looking for a long time.

This item has reached full antique status.

Most of these artists were very good but desperate for work during that era and got paid very little and received no recognition for their work. Unfortunately, the majority of these artists will remain unknown, but we can keep their art alive forever.
