Dr. Browns was started in 1869 in NY and has been a staple ever since there and has become a sensation in Southern Florida also. It is produced out of NY by PepsiCo. This company sold Slim-Ray in the 1940s and early 1950s alongside their still popular soda beverage Cel-Ray a celery-flavored soda.
