The vintage 1930s Redman Apples Crate Label, a unique piece of advertising, was crafted by the esteemed H. S. Denison and Co. out of Wenatchee, Washington. This label, a part of our rich Americana history, features a proud Native American Chief looking stoic. This unique memorabilia, with deep roots in our past, will add a distinctive touch to your collection or decor, making you feel connected to history.

10" x 8 3/4" ~ little to no wear. I have very few of these, so grab one while you can.

Paul Scea and Leslie Lewis opened Denison’s Wenatchee Branch in 1924 after a freeze wiped out most of the company’s fruit crop in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. In a 1989 interview, Mr. Scea recalled the going rate in those early days of a box of apples was 10 cents. They were a prominent fruit-packing company known for its high-quality apples, and they used eye-catching crate labels, such as the Denison's Crest and Redman brands, to market their produce. These labels, often lithographed with vibrant colors and intricate designs, have become collectible items.

Wenatchee, often called the "Apple Capital of the World," was a fitting location for such a company. The Denison family's orchards contributed significantly to the region's agricultural heritage.

Once a common sight, these Crate Labels have become a rare and treasured relic of a bygone era. The meticulous lithography process used in their creation, involving a stone or metal plate, is a testament to their unique craftsmanship. The soaring demand for these labels, with museums and art institutes dedicating galleries to them, underscores their growing importance in art and collectibles. This rarity adds a sense of urgency to your purchase, making them a must-have for any serious collector, and you don't want to miss out on this opportunity.

Picture this remarkable vintage advertising, a unique piece of history, adorning the walls of your home. Instead of being confined to a museum, it can bring a touch of nostalgia and elegance to any room in your home.
