I guarantee 100% customer satisfaction. I contacted the customer and offered to send him a shipping label, repurchase them, and give him an extra $25 for his trouble. He refused as he didn't want to give up the cards. Now, a 1-star review means to me that the set is terrible and you wouldn't want to keep it. He could make a 20% profit from a horrible 1-star set in a week. It is absolutely perplexing, as I went above and beyond what anyone else would do, especially given the following.
He sent me a list of what they received, which were all 1959 cards. This was key as I wouldn't have had a clue, as once the boxes are sealed, they are sealed. I knew nothing about them as they were before my time, but I definitely wanted to make my customer happy. After working with our vetted collector Sportscards on this, we realized this customer bought a set break from us for 1957 and, at the same time, purchased a set break from their website for 1959. The customer is reviewing the 1959 set break he received from the other order, not through our site, even though they are both from the same place. After he refused my offer, I was curious and decided to run the list of names and generate a report on their value. This is the complete list of what he received, so that I can maintain complete transparency, and you guys can see what a 1-star set looks like.

I used to collect cards as a kid, started again recently, and have met some great pro collectors. These particular players may be before my knowledge, but their accomplishments are historic, and cards only get rarer and more valuable as more are lost to floods and fires every year. He would have let me buy them after seeing the AI report now. I would have been happy to pay him even the $25 profit. I likely would have graded those Rocky and Boston Bafflers as neat cards, but even if I hadn't, I would still have been ahead. Some people you can't help, and I tried hard to assist. I can't perform customer service if you won't let me, and that is where we shine.
