Autographed Matt Olson Atlanta Braves 16x20 Baseball Photo Fanatics COA — Born Atlanta Georgia Raised Lilburn Gwinnett County Parkview High School, Oakland Athletics 2x Gold Glove, Atlanta Braves Trade 2022 Coming Home, 54 Home Runs 2023 NL Silver Slugger, The Hometown First Baseman — Signed Photo

The Atlanta Braves. Truist Park. The chop. The tomahawk. The crowd and the noise and the smell of Georgia summer baseball — a team that for a generation defined National League consistency and that now, with its young core and the anchor at first base, looks like a franchise positioned to compete for years. Signed by Matt Olson — the first baseman who grew up in Gwinnett County dreaming of playing at Fulton County Stadium, who left for Oakland, became a two-time Gold Glove winner, and then came home in a trade in 2022 and proceeded to hit 54 home runs in 2023. Authenticated by Fanatics.

🌟 Lilburn, Georgia — Gwinnett County — Parkview High School — The Kid Who Grew Up a Braves Fan

Matt Olson was born March 29, 1994, in Atlanta, Georgia — he grew up in Lilburn, in Gwinnett County, in the northeastern suburban sprawl of Metro Atlanta where the clay red soil runs into the piedmont foothills and where the Atlanta Braves were the team that every kid in the county followed. He went to Parkview High School in Lilburn — a nationally recognized baseball program that has produced professional players and where Olson developed into the first baseman that the Oakland Athletics selected with the 47th overall pick in the 2012 MLB Draft. He left Georgia for Oakland, California, for the Bay Area, for the green-and-gold of the A's organization, and he became an elite defensive and offensive first baseman. But he always knew where he was from.

🏆 Oakland Athletics — 2x Gold Glove — The Foundation of Excellence

With the Oakland Athletics, Matt Olson established himself as one of the best defensive first basemen in baseball. He won the Gold Glove Award in 2018 and 2019 — recognition of the range, the hands, and the footwork at first base that made opposing coaches adjust their strategy around his presence. He also hit for power in Oakland, developing the offensive ability that would later produce historic home run totals. The A's built their defense around Olson for six seasons. And then the trade happened.

Trade to Atlanta — 2022 — Coming Home — 54 Home Runs in 2023

In March 2022, the Atlanta Braves acquired Matt Olson from the Oakland Athletics in a major trade — sending four prospects including Shea Langeliers to Oakland for the first baseman who had grown up a Braves fan in Gwinnett County. He came home to the city that raised him, to play for the team he'd watched from the stands, to put on the Braves uniform that had been a part of his childhood identity. In 2023, he hit 54 home runs — leading the National League, the most home runs in a single season by a Brave since the power-hitting era of the franchise's dynasty years, earning the NL Silver Slugger Award at first base. The Braves had found their cornerstone. He had found his way home. Fanatics COA. The 16x20 photo captures his Atlanta chapter — the hometown kid who made it all the way around and came back.
