🏒 Autographed/Signed Reggie Leach Philadelphia Orange Hockey Jersey JSA COA — The Hand-Signed Orange Flyers Jersey of "The Rifle," the Riverton, Manitoba-Born Cree Indigenous Right Wing Who Won Two Stanley Cup Championships With the Broad Street Bullies and Became One of Only a Handful of Players in NHL History to Win the Conn Smythe Trophy Despite Being on the Losing Side of the Stanley Cup Final

✨ The Reggie Leach signed Philadelphia Flyers orange jersey, authenticated by James Spence Authentication with a Certificate of Authenticity, carries the autograph of one of the most fascinating and historically significant players in the Philadelphia Flyers' first generation of competition. The orange jersey — the primary home uniform of the Flyers since their founding as a 1967 NHL expansion franchise, the most distinctive color in the Broad Street Bullies' visual identity — is the garment associated with the most celebrated era in franchise history. Leach's signature on that orange jersey connects to the two Stanley Cup championship seasons of 1974 and 1975, the playoff records of 1976 that earned him hockey's most unusual individual honor, and the Cree Indigenous identity that made him a figure of significance beyond the game itself. JSA's authentication process involves direct comparison of submitted signatures against their verified exemplar database, and the COA on this jersey confirms that examination was conducted and Leach's signature was authenticated.

🏒 Reginald Joseph Leach was born April 23, 1950, in Riverton, Manitoba — a small community on the shores of Lake Winnipeg in the Interlake region of the province, home to a significant Cree population and to a generation of young men for whom hockey was the organizing activity of winter and the primary language of shared ambition. Leach's childhood in Riverton included skating on the frozen surfaces of Lake Winnipeg and developing the shot that would eventually earn him the nickname that followed him through a professional career spanning fifteen NHL seasons. His childhood friend was Bobby Clarke — the future Flyers captain and Hockey Hall of Famer who would grow up alongside Leach in Flin Flon, Manitoba before both men traveled the path through the Western Canadian junior hockey system into professional hockey and, eventually, into the same organization in Philadelphia. The Clarke-Leach connection was among the most productive friendship-to-teammate relationships in Philadelphia Flyers history.

🏒 The Flyers acquired Leach from the California Golden Seals in a 1974 trade, placing him on a line with Clarke and Bill Barber that became one of the most effective trios in the NHL during the Broad Street Bullies era. Philadelphia won the Stanley Cup in 1974 and 1975, and Leach's shooting ability — his release speed, his accuracy from distance, and the weight behind a shot that defensive players described as genuinely painful to block — was a primary weapon in the offensive arsenal that supplemented the physical dominance the Flyers' identity was built around. The 1975-76 season produced his most remarkable individual achievement: Leach scored 61 goals in the regular season, then scored 19 goals in the 1976 playoffs — an NHL playoff scoring record at the time. The Flyers reached the 1976 Stanley Cup Final against the Montreal Canadiens and were swept in four games, but the Conn Smythe Trophy ballot awarded the individual playoff honor to Leach anyway. Only a small number of players in the history of the award have received the Conn Smythe while playing for the losing team in the Stanley Cup Final; Leach's 1976 selection is among the most discussed in the award's history.
