🏈 Framed Autographed/Signed Fran Tarkenton HOF 86 35x39 Minnesota Vikings Purple Football Jersey JSA COA — The Hand-Signed Minnesota Vikings Purple Football Jersey Bearing the Personal Signature of Fran Tarkenton, the Hall of Fame Scrambling Quarterback Who Revolutionized the Position With His Athleticism and Mobility Across an Era When Quarterbacks Were Expected to Stand in the Pocket, Authenticated by James Spence Authentication, Presented in a 35x39 Framed Display

🏈 The Framed Autographed/Signed Fran Tarkenton HOF 86 35x39 Minnesota Vikings Purple Football Jersey JSA COA is the James Spence Authentication certified hand-signed Minnesota Vikings purple football jersey bearing the personal signature of Francis Asbury Tarkenton — the quarterback who spent most of his playing career in the purple of Minnesota, who redefined what a quarterback could be with his scrambling ability, and who was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986, the HOF designation noted on this jersey's authenticated presentation. James Spence Authentication (JSA) is one of the three most trusted names in sports autograph authentication, and the COA accompanying this jersey documents Tarkenton's signature as genuine for every collector and display owner who holds this piece. The 35x39 framing presents the signed Vikings purple jersey as a gallery-quality tribute to a quarterback who belongs in any serious conversation about the most innovative players in NFL history.

🏈 Fran Tarkenton was born February 3, 1940, in Richmond, Virginia — the historic capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia on the James River — and grew up in a family shaped by faith and community. He played college football at the University of Georgia, where the Southern football tradition gave him his foundation before the Minnesota Vikings made him one of the franchise's foundational pieces in their first years of existence. He wore Minnesota purple for the first six seasons of his career, left for the New York Giants (1967-1971), and then returned to the Vikings for the peak years of his career and three legendary Super Bowl runs.

🏈 What Fran Tarkenton brought to professional football was something the game had never quite seen at the quarterback position: pure improvisation. At a time when the conventional football wisdom demanded that quarterbacks remain in the pocket, Tarkenton ran. He scrambled, he extended plays, he found receivers who had broken their routes and turned football's most scripted position into something closer to jazz improvisation — reading the chaos, creating out of broken plays, and finding ways to move the chains that defenses hadn't been prepared for because they weren't part of the standard playbook. He led the Vikings to three Super Bowls during the 1970s — Super Bowls VIII, IX, and XI — a stretch of excellence that established Minnesota as one of the premier franchises of the decade, even as the championship games ended in defeat. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986, taking his place among the immortals of the game. Condition: NOS.
