A hand-signed Matt Olson Atlanta Braves white baseball jersey displayed in a framed 35x39 presentation and authenticated by Fanatics Authentication — signed by the Lilburn, Georgia first baseman who grew up in the Atlanta metro area in the northeast suburbs of Gwinnett County, was drafted by the Oakland Athletics out of Parkview High School in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft (47th overall), spent six seasons developing into one of the premier first basemen in the American League with the A's, and was traded to the Atlanta Braves in March 2022 — coming home to the organization whose games he could have attended as a Gwinnett County teenager driving south on I-85 to Truist Park. The Fanatics Certificate of Authenticity provides a verified record of the autograph through Fanatics' authentication process. The 35x39 framed display presents the signed Braves white home jersey as a complete, ready-to-display piece. Condition: NOS.

🌟 Lilburn, Georgia — Gwinnett County — The Atlanta Metro Kid Who Became an Atlanta Brave

Matt Olson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in Lilburn — a city in Gwinnett County in the northeastern Atlanta metropolitan area, along the Georgia 78 corridor northeast of the city, in the suburban sprawl that developed along the Interstates after Atlanta's population growth pushed outward from the Perimeter in every direction. He attended Parkview High School in Lilburn, one of the large Gwinnett County public high schools that competes in the 7A classification — the largest class in Georgia high school athletics — and developed into a left-handed first baseman with the power profile and defensive reliability that attracted first-round attention. The Oakland Athletics selected him 47th overall in 2012, and Olson spent his formative professional years in the Bay Area, away from home, building the career in Oakland that set up the most personal trade of his life: the March 2022 deal that brought him from Oakland to Atlanta — to the Braves organization, to Truist Park in Cumberland, to the professional baseball team he was raised 40 miles northeast of. Condition: NOS.

🏆 Two Gold Gloves in Oakland — The Braves Trade — The Atlanta Chapter

Matt Olson's Oakland Athletics career produced two Gold Glove Awards at first base (2018 and 2019), recognizing the defensive excellence that accompanied his consistent power production at the plate. In March 2022, the Braves traded for Olson — in a transaction that also involved other prospects — with the context that Freddie Freeman, the Braves' franchise first baseman for twelve seasons, had signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a free agent. The organization needed a first baseman capable of maintaining the defensive standard and offensive productivity that Freeman had established at the position, and Olson's profile — left-handed power, elite defensive range, and demonstrated durability — made him the choice. He signed a long-term extension with Atlanta and came home to the city and region where he grew up, wearing the Braves uniform that he had grown up watching from the other side of the Gwinnett County line. The white Braves jersey, framed and Fanatics certified, captures the Georgia kid's homecoming chapter at Truist Park. Condition: NOS.
