The Philadelphia Flyers orange. The Broad Street Bullies orange — the color that in the mid-1970s meant the toughest team in hockey, the team that intimidated opponents, that played on the edge of every rule, that filled the Spectrum in Philadelphia with fans who knew what they were watching was unlike anything the NHL had ever produced. Signed by Reggie Leach — The Riverton Rifle — the right wing from the Manitoba community of Riverton who carried Ojibwe heritage and one of the most powerful, accurate shots in the game, who in the 1976 Stanley Cup Playoffs scored 19 goals and won the Conn Smythe Trophy despite the Flyers losing the Finals to the Montreal Canadiens. Authenticated by JSA. Framed at 35x39. Wall-ready to hang today.

🌟 Riverton, Manitoba — The Berens River First Nation — The Riverton Rifle — Origins

Reggie Leach was born April 23, 1950, in Riverton, Manitoba, Canada — a small community on the eastern shore of Lake Manitoba roughly 120 miles north of Winnipeg, a place shaped by Icelandic immigrant fishing heritage and the Indigenous presence of the Berens River First Nation, from which Leach descends. He is Ojibwe — from the Anishinaabe people whose territory extends across the Great Lakes and the Canadian Shield and who have a history in North America that predates any modern national boundary. Growing up as an Indigenous person in Manitoba in the 1950s and 1960s meant navigating a world that did not always make room for him. Hockey was the way through. His shot — a powerful, laser-precise release that goalies could barely track — earned him the nickname The Riverton Rifle before he ever played an NHL game. He became one of the most prominent First Nations players in the history of professional hockey and a source of pride for communities across Manitoba and beyond.

🏆 1976 Conn Smythe Trophy — 19 Playoff Goals — The Record — Despite Losing

In the 1976 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Reggie Leach scored 19 goals — a single-playoff-year record for goals. The Philadelphia Flyers, the Broad Street Bullies with Bobby Clarke and Bill Barber and Bernie Parent, marched through the playoffs behind Leach's unprecedented scoring. They reached the Stanley Cup Finals against the Montreal Canadiens — the dynasty team of Guy Lafleur and Ken Dryden and Yvan Cournoyer. The Canadiens won the series four games to none. The Flyers lost the Cup. But the Hockey Writers Association awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy — the Most Valuable Player of the playoffs — to Reggie Leach, one of a very small number of players in Stanley Cup history to win the award despite playing for the losing team. His 19 goals in a single playoff were that extraordinary. JSA authenticated. Framed at 35x39. Hang it today.

Broad Street Bullies — Bobby Clarke's Linemate — 61 Goals in 1975-76

Reggie Leach scored 61 goals in the 1975-76 NHL regular season — one of the highest single-season totals in league history at the time — playing alongside Bobby Clarke on one of the most dangerous lines in hockey. Clarke was the engine, the center who competed with ferocity and creative vision and who made the players around him better. Leach was the finisher — the man whose release was quick enough and accurate enough to score in any situation, on any type of play, from close range or from the circle. Together they were the heart of the Broad Street Bullies attack. The Flyers orange signed by Reggie Leach is a piece of one of the most colorful and consequential eras in the history of the Philadelphia Flyers franchise. JSA authenticated. Framed at 35x39.
