🏈 Graded 1982 Topps Terry Bradshaw #204 Football Card PSA 9 Mint — A High-Grade Specimen of a Legendary Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Card From the Dynasty Era, One of the Most Decorated Passers in NFL History

🏈 Terry Bradshaw won four Super Bowls in a six-year span with the Pittsburgh Steelers — Super Bowls IX, X, XIII, and XIV, the championship run from 1974 through 1979 that established the Steelers as the dominant franchise of the decade and produced the kind of sustained championship success that the modern NFL has made structurally more difficult to replicate. He was at the center of all four of those championships as the starting quarterback: the player who threw the passes that mattered most in the games that mattered most, who won two Super Bowl MVP Awards (Super Bowls XIII and XIV), and who carried the ball downfield in the fourth quarters of games that his team needed to win and then won them.

🏈 The Pittsburgh Steelers of the 1970s were built around Chuck Noll, the defensive system anchored by the Steel Curtain — Mean Joe Greene, Jack Lambert, Mel Blount, Jack Ham — and the offensive nucleus of Bradshaw throwing to Lynn Swann and John Stallworth. But it was Bradshaw who operated as the offensive decision-maker in a passing game that defenses could not fully solve even when they knew what the Steelers intended to do, because what the Steelers intended to do was throw the ball to receivers who could beat single coverage on the outside and make plays in the biggest moments of the biggest games. Super Bowl XIII, played against the Dallas Cowboys in January 1979, is considered by many historians of the sport to be among the greatest Super Bowls ever played, and Bradshaw's performance — 318 yards, four touchdowns, the passes to Swann and Stallworth that defined the game — remains one of the finest individual quarterback performances in championship football history.

🏈 He retired after the 1983 season with a Hall of Fame resume that the selection committee recognized with his induction in 1989. The 1982 Topps set captures Bradshaw near the end of his playing career — the final seasons of a quarterback who had already won everything the sport offered and who continued to compete until the physical demands of professional football made continuation impossible. Vintage football cards from the early 1980s carry the condition challenges of cardboard produced under the printing standards of the era, making high-grade PSA examples significantly more difficult to produce than modern cards with more precise printing tolerances.

🏈 1982 Topps #204 — PSA 9 Mint

📋 PSA 9 Mint is the second-highest grade in PSA's scale, confirming a card with sharp corners, surfaces without significant wear, edges in strong condition, and centering within the wider but still demanding parameters of the 9-grade threshold. On a 1982 Topps football card produced over forty years ago, PSA 9 represents the high end of the condition spectrum — a result that confirms the card has maintained its structural integrity across four decades in a way that most examples from this era have not. Condition: NOS.
