Fernando Tatis Jr. The most exciting shortstop to arrive in the major leagues in a generation — a player who debuted at age 19, hit for power and average from the first day, and brought a flair and joy for the game that the sport had been craving. This is his 2019 Bowman Chrome #25 Prospects card — his debut year, his first professional season, the card from the year everything about him became obvious to anyone watching. Graded PSA 10 GEM MINT. The highest grade attainable. Investment-grade.

🌟 Fernando Tatis Jr. — San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic; Baseball Royalty

Fernando Tatis Jr. was born January 2, 2000, in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic — the province on the southeastern coast of the DR that is, per capita, the most prolific producer of major league baseball players in the history of the sport. San Pedro de Macorís has given the game generations of shortstops and infielders who went from the sandlots of the Caribbean coast to the biggest stadiums in North America. Tatis was born into a baseball family: his father, Fernando Tatis Sr., is famous in baseball history for hitting two grand slams in the same inning on April 23, 1999, playing for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Los Angeles Dodgers — the only time in the history of the sport a player has hit two grand slams in a single inning. The son took that baseball DNA and delivered something extraordinary.

🏆 The 2019 Debut — .317, 22 HR, 53 RBI, 16 SB in 84 Games at Age 19

Fernando Tatis Jr. debuted with the San Diego Padres on April 2, 2019. He was 19 years old. In 84 games before a back injury ended his debut season, he hit .317 with 22 home runs, 53 RBI, and 16 stolen bases — numbers that, had he played the full 162 games, projected to one of the most complete offensive debut seasons in modern baseball history from a teenage player. The 2019 Bowman Chrome #25 Prospects card is from this debut season — the physical record of the year Tatis made his first impression on the game. PSA 10 GEM MINT means the card is preserved in the same perfect condition in which it left the press.

San Diego Padres, 3x All-Star, 42 Home Runs in 2021

Fernando Tatis Jr. was selected to the All-Star Game three times in his first few professional seasons. In 2021, he hit 42 home runs and drove in 97 runs in 130 games — one of the most complete offensive seasons from a shortstop the game has seen. He signed a 14-year, $340 million contract extension with the San Diego Padres, the largest contract in baseball history at that time. The 2019 Bowman Chrome #25 PSA 10 GEM MINT is the foundation of that arc — the debut-year card, investment-grade condition, certified and sealed. Slabbed. Certified. Ready for the holder who understands that the most valuable cards are from the year the player first arrived.
