Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint Ronald Acuna Jr. 2020 Topps Chrome #112 Sepia Refractor Baseball Card — Born La Victoria Aragua Venezuela, Atlanta Braves 2018 NL Rookie of the Year, 2023 NL MVP Historic 40 Home Run 73 Stolen Bases Season First Player in MLB History to Reach 40 HR and 70 SB in a Single Season — PSA 10 Gem Mint Highest Possible Grade Premium Sepia Refractor Parallel

PSA 10 Gem Mint. The Sepia Refractor parallel. A premium card from the 2020 Topps Chrome set featuring one of the most spectacular multi-tool talents in modern baseball — Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves — graded at the highest level possible and encased in a PSA slab that preserves it permanently at its peak. This is card #112 from the 2020 Topps Chrome flagship set in the Sepia Refractor parallel variant — the warm-tinted, serial-numbered limited parallel that represents a distinct tier above the base Chrome version. For the serious Acuña collector, PSA 10 on a Sepia Refractor is the target.

🌟 La Victoria, Aragua, Venezuela — The Acuña Family Baseball Tradition

Ronald Acuña Jr. was born December 18, 1997, in La Victoria, a city in the Aragua state of north-central Venezuela near the industrial city of Maracay. His father, Ronald Acuña Sr., played professional baseball for many years in the minor leagues and briefly in the major leagues — the Acuña family baseball heritage runs deep. Ronald Jr. was signed by the Atlanta Braves in 2014 as a 16-year-old international free agent, went through the Braves' system with the kind of five-tool ability that scouts called generational, and made his major league debut on April 25, 2018. The 2018 NL Rookie of the Year Award arrived before his first full season was complete. By 2019 he was an All-Star. The 2020 Topps Chrome card captures him in his development into one of the most dangerous hitters in baseball.

🏆 2023 — The Historic Season — 40 Home Runs and 73 Stolen Bases — The First 40/70 Season in MLB History

The 2023 MLB season produced one of the most remarkable individual performances in the history of the sport. Ronald Acuña Jr. hit .337 with 41 home runs and 73 stolen bases — becoming the first player in Major League Baseball history to reach 40 home runs and 70 stolen bases in a single season. The 40/40 season (40 HR, 40 SB) had only been achieved a handful of times since Jose Canseco accomplished it in 1988. Acuña did 40 and 73. The combination of power and speed at that level had never been seen in the same player in the same season at any point in the sport's history. He won the 2023 NL MVP Award unanimously. The 2020 Topps Chrome Sepia Refractor captured his earlier development years. The card's value is anchored in what came after it — in what this player became.

The Sepia Refractor Parallel — The Premium Layer

Topps Chrome produces multiple parallel variants for each card in the set — base refractors, colored refractors (blue, green, orange, gold, sepia), X-fractors, and superfractors. The Sepia Refractor carries a warm brownish-amber tint to the foil and is serial-numbered to a limited print run, making each individual card trackable by its number. In PSA 10 Gem Mint — the top grade, with perfect corners and surfaces and centering — the Sepia Refractor parallel is the kind of card that goes into a collection and stays there. Premium parallel. Top grade. Historic player. PSA 10. The combination is what the hobby chases.
