Thank you, Dad & Kids, for a very nice piece of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department history. FYI, Sheriff Eugene Biscaluz used to send boys to ranches to learn citizenship. They would receive small badges or pins as part of their participation. I believe this pin may be one given out. Post Occupied Japan in the 1950s.
