Autographed/Signed Charlie Manuel Philadelphia Phillies Grey Baseball Jersey — PSA/DNA COA — Northfork, West Virginia — Philadelphia Phillies Manager — 2008 World Series Champion — 2009 National League Pennant — PSA/DNA Certificate of Authenticity

⚾ Charlie Manuel signed this Philadelphia Phillies grey road baseball jersey himself — a direct, in-person autograph from the manager who delivered the Philadelphia faithful their first World Series championship in 28 years on October 29, 2008, who guided a roster assembled by general manager Pat Gillick through the regular season dominance and the postseason gauntlet that ended with closer Brad Lidge on the mound at Citizens Bank Park and an entire city celebrating the title it had waited for since the Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton era. Authenticated and certified by PSA/DNA, this signed Phillies grey jersey is the collectible of the man in the dugout who made the 2008 season possible. Condition: NOS.

🌟 Northfork, West Virginia — A Baseball Man's Baseball Man

🌟 Charlie Manuel was born on January 4, 1944, in Northfork, West Virginia — an Appalachian coalfields town where the combination of blue-collar work ethic and the love of sports that West Virginia produced for decades shaped the sensibility that Manuel carried into every clubhouse he managed and every lineup card he filled out. His playing career took him through the Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Dodgers organizations before he found his greatest success overseas, playing six seasons in Nippon Professional Baseball with the Yakult Swallows and the Kintetsu Buffaloes, where his power hitting earned him the nickname "Aka-Oni" (The Red Devil) and a 1979 Pacific League MVP award with Kintetsu — the offensive philosophy he would later install in the Phillies lineup when he arrived in Philadelphia as manager in 2005. Condition: NOS.

🏆 2008 World Series — Cole Hamels, Ryan Howard, and the Championship

🏆 The 2008 Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in five games to win the World Series — and Charlie Manuel managed every pitching change, every lineup decision, and every strategy call across the 162 regular-season games and the postseason run that led to the moment closer Brad Lidge struck out Eric Hinske swinging to end the series and send Citizens Bank Park into celebration. Ryan Howard delivered key power throughout the postseason. Cole Hamels won World Series MVP with his dominance across the series. And Phillies fans who had lived through the 1980 championship and the painful seasons in between lined Broad Street for the parade that Manuel led. The grey Phillies road jersey — the uniform worn on the road games of that championship season — is signed by the architect of the run. Condition: NOS.

Nine Seasons in Philadelphia — The Manager the City Loved

⭐ From 2005 through 2013, Charlie Manuel managed the Philadelphia Phillies through one of the franchise's most successful sustained stretches. Five consecutive division titles from 2007 through 2011, two National League pennants (2008 and 2009), and the 2008 World Series championship formed a run that the Philadelphia sports market will measure every future era against. The grey road jersey carries the full story of those years in a single signed garment. PSA/DNA authenticated. Condition: NOS.
