🏀 Vintage Autographed Signed Elgin Baylor Los Angeles Lakers Yellow Basketball Jersey — JSA COA — Basketball Hall of Fame 1977, 11x NBA All-Star, One of the Greatest Players in NBA History Who Redefined What a Forward Could Do, Authenticated

🏀 Elgin Baylor was doing things on a basketball court in the 1960s that the game had not seen before. He elevated in traffic. He hung in the air. He finished with either hand, from any angle, at any distance from the basket that he decided was close enough. He set records for scoring averages. He was a 11-time NBA All-Star, an 10-time All-NBA First Team selection, and the player whom observers at the time reached for superlatives they had not previously applied to basketball. When he retired in 1971, he never held a championship ring — the Lakers won the title that very season, nine games after he stepped away. The Los Angeles Lakers yellow jersey with Elgin Baylor's autograph on it, authenticated with a JSA COA, connects to a career that predated much of what collectors think of as the modern game. Condition: NOS.

💛💜 Los Angeles Lakers and the Forum Years

💛💜 Elgin Baylor spent most of his professional career in Los Angeles, playing the bulk of his games at the Forum and in the predecessors to that building. He was a Laker when the franchise was still building its California identity, when the yellow and purple uniform was still establishing the visual language that would eventually become the most recognizable in basketball. He was joined by Jerry West in one of the most celebrated backcourt-frontcourt partnerships of that era. Together they reached the NBA Finals repeatedly but came short of a championship — a biographical fact that made Baylor's career story one of the great 'what-ifs' in basketball history. Condition: NOS.

🏆 Hall of Fame 1977 — The Recognition He Earned

🏆 Elgin Baylor was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1977. His career averages — 27.4 points and 13.5 rebounds per game across his NBA tenure — remain among the highest in the history of the league and speak to a player who performed at the top of the scale throughout a career that was also marked by military service obligations that cost him playing time in multiple seasons. What he produced on the court, even with those limitations, was extraordinary. Condition: NOS.

🔐 JSA COA — James Spence Authentication

🔐 James Spence Authentication (JSA) is one of the most respected autograph verification services in sports collectibles. The JSA COA on this Elgin Baylor signed Lakers yellow jersey confirms the autograph has been examined and verified as genuine. Condition: NOS.
