A hand-signed Matt Leinart USC Trojans white football jersey authenticated by JSA (James Spence Authentication) — signed by the Tustin, California quarterback who won the 2004 Heisman Trophy at the University of Southern California under head coach Pete Carroll, operating as the command center of the most dominant college football program of the early 2000s — the USC Trojans dynasty that produced NFL talent at every position, won consecutive national championships, and played in front of the Los Angeles college football audience that turned the Coliseum into a weekly spectacle for anyone who paid attention to the sport. The JSA Certificate of Authenticity accompanying this jersey provides a verified, trackable record of the signature through JSA's authentication system. The USC Trojans white home jersey — the cardinal red and gold of the fight song and the Coliseum tradition — carries the signature of the quarterback who ran the dynasty's most celebrated offense. 🌟 Santa Ana and Tustin, California — Mater Dei High School — The Orange County Football Pipeline — USC

Matt Leinart was born May 11, 1983, in Santa Ana, California, and grew up in Tustin — adjacent cities in Orange County, south of Los Angeles in the inland OC corridor between the 5 and the 55 freeways. He attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana — the Catholic powerhouse whose football program has produced more NFL players than most state public high school programs of much larger enrollment, competing at the highest level of California prep football against schools from across Southern California. The pipeline from Mater Dei to USC was well-traveled by players in Leinart's era, and arriving in the Trojans program under Pete Carroll meant entering a system designed around elite talent development and the kind of offensive freedom that allows quarterbacks with NFL-caliber arm talent to operate in space and develop the decision-making that professional organizations value. USC was the place, Pete Carroll was the coach, and Matt Leinart was the quarterback. Condition: NOS.

🏆 The 2004 Heisman Trophy — The USC Dynasty — The Backfield with Reggie Bush and LenDale White

Matt Leinart's redshirt sophomore season in 2003 produced a Pac-10 record 38 touchdown passes and an AP national championship for USC. The following year, 2004, USC went wire-to-wire at No. 1 in the polls, and Leinart threw five touchdown passes in a 55-19 Orange Bowl rout of Oklahoma to claim USC's first BCS National Championship and earn Orange Bowl MVP honors, capping the season that also brought him the Heisman Trophy over Oklahoma's Adrian Peterson and Jason White, Utah's Alex Smith, and his own teammate Reggie Bush. Reggie Bush and LenDale White were in the same backfield, giving opposing defenses a set of problems that a single defense couldn't solve simultaneously. The NCAA later vacated USC's 2004 BCS National Championship and the final two wins of that season, along with the entire 2005 season, following its investigation into improper benefits received by Reggie Bush; the 2003 AP national title was not affected. The Arizona Cardinals selected Leinart 10th overall in 2006. The USC white jersey carries the signature of the Orange County quarterback who ran that offense. JSA certified. Condition: NOS.
