Autographed Ricardo Kaká Brazil Yellow Soccer Jersey Beckett BAS COA — Born Gama Federal District Brazil, 2002 FIFA World Cup Champion, AC Milan 2003-2009, 2007 UEFA Champions League Champion, 2007 FIFA Ballon d'Or Winner, 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year, The Last Player Other Than Messi or Ronaldo to Win the Ballon d'Or for Over a Decade, Beckett BAS Authenticated — The Signature of the Most Elegant Attacking Midfielder of His Generation

The Canarinha. The Brazil yellow that Ricardo Kaká wore as the most gifted attacking midfielder of the 2000s — a player whose combination of pace, technical ability, and vision made him the link between the midfield and the attack that every football team builds around when they have the player who can fill that role at his level. Signed by Ricardo Kaká and authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services. The yellow of Brazil. The signature of the 2007 Ballon d'Or winner. The last footballer outside of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to hold the sport's most prestigious individual award for over a decade.

🌟 Gama, Brazil — São Paulo — The Attacking Midfielder the Game Had Been Waiting For

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite was born April 22, 1982, in Gama, a satellite city in the Federal District of Brazil near Brasília. He was raised in São Paulo, where he learned football in the Brazilian tradition — technically demanding, aesthetically ambitious, expressive in a way that reflected the national footballing identity. His nickname "Kaká" came from his younger brother Rodrigo, who as a child could not pronounce "Ricardo" and called him "Caco," which evolved into Kaká — the name the world football community adopted as the shorthand for a career and a style of play that became one of the defining aesthetic touchstones of the 2000s game. He signed with São Paulo FC and developed through the Brazilian club system before AC Milan recognized what they had in this technically precise, physically powerful, deceptively fast attacking midfielder and brought him to Serie A in 2003. What followed became the template for what an elite attacking midfielder could produce when the system around him allowed him to operate from the position as its architect.

🏆 AC Milan 2003-2009 — The Champions League — The Ballon d'Or — The Peak

AC Milan acquired Kaká for €8.5 million in the summer of 2003 — a transfer fee that has since been described as the greatest value in the history of Italian football given what Kaká produced in the following six seasons at the San Siro. The 2006-07 season represents his peak: AC Milan won the UEFA Champions League on May 23, 2007, in Athens, defeating Liverpool 2-1 in the final in a reversal of the 2005 Champions League Final (in which Liverpool had famously recovered from 3-0 down to beat Milan on penalties in Istanbul). Kaká was the controlling force throughout the 2006-07 Champions League campaign — he scored 10 goals in the competition, including a stunning hat-trick against Manchester United in the Round of 16 second leg at Old Trafford, a performance that provoked the United fans to applaud him off the field as an acknowledgment that they had witnessed something outside the ordinary range of football experience. He won the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award, the FIFA World Player of the Year award, and the FIFA Ballon d'Or — the three most prestigious individual honors in world football — for the 2007 calendar year. It would be over ten years before anyone not named Messi or Ronaldo would hold that award again (until Luka Modrić in 2018).

The Brazil Yellow — 2002 World Cup Champion — Beckett BAS Authenticated

The Brazil yellow on this signed jersey carries Kaká's contribution to the Canarinha tradition — 92 international caps, 29 goals, and the 2002 FIFA World Cup gold medal won in Yokohama, Japan, where Brazil defeated Germany 2-0 in the final with Ronaldo scoring both goals. Kaká was a member of that squad, part of the most technically gifted generation in Brazilian football — a generation that included Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, and Cafu. The Brazil yellow jersey signed by Ricardo Kaká and authenticated by Beckett BAS carries the weight of the World Cup, the Champions League, the Ballon d'Or, and the particular elegance of an attacking midfielder who made the most difficult things in football look like the easiest expressions of a natural gift.
