Autographed/Signed Ronald Acuña Jr. Atlanta Braves 16x20 Baseball Photo JSA COA – Personally Signed by the 2023 National League Most Valuable Player, the Atlanta Braves Outfielder Who Became the First Player in Major League Baseball History to Hit 40 or More Home Runs and Steal 70 or More Bases in a Single Season, Authenticated by JSA in a 16x20 Format Ready for Display

⚾ Baseball creates its statistical milestones in two categories: the milestones that reward power and the milestones that reward speed, and the players who combine both tools at the highest level of the game are rare enough that the sport has been watching for them for a century without producing very many. The 30–30 club – thirty home runs and thirty stolen bases in the same season – has existed as the standard for the combination player since the category was first identified as a meaningful marker of two-way offensive value. The 40–40 season, reaching those thresholds at the higher level, has been accomplished fewer than five times in the history of the sport. What Ronald Acuña Jr. did in 2023 – forty-one home runs and seventy-three stolen bases in a single season – produced a combination that had never been achieved at any threshold before: forty home runs and seventy stolen bases, a pairing that required an offensive output at the power level and a baserunning output at the speed level that the sport had no precedent for providing as a simultaneous accomplishment by any player across more than a century of professional play.

🏆 Ronald Acuña Jr. was born April 18, 1997, in La Guaira, Venezuela, into a family with a deep professional baseball background on his father's side – his father Ronald Acuña Sr. played in the Atlanta Braves organization, and several of his uncles also played professional baseball, which made the game not an option but an expectation in the environment he grew up in. He signed with the Atlanta Braves as an international amateur and developed through their minor league system with a combination of tools that the organization's scouts and development staff identified as projecting toward the kind of impact that the major league level rarely sees from a player's first years of professional experience. He won the 2018 National League Rookie of the Year Award in his first major league season, becoming the first player in the National League born in Venezuela to win the award, and established himself immediately as the kind of player whose combination of skills the sport watches for because it occurs so rarely and produces such an unusual quality of offensive value when it does.

🏟️ His 2023 NL MVP season – the .337 average, the 41 home runs, the 73 stolen bases, the 149 runs scored, the 106 RBI, the .999 OPS – was recognized by the Baseball Writers' Association of America as the unanimous Most Valuable Player in the National League, the first unanimous NL MVP selection in years and a recognition that what Acuña produced in 2023 was in a category by itself, beyond argument, beyond comparison to any other player's individual performance in the league that season. The Atlanta Braves, with Acuña at the center of the lineup, won 104 games and the NL East division title and established themselves as one of the best offensive teams in the National League over the course of a season that confirmed, if confirmation was needed, that the player the organization had developed from a teenage international signing was operating at the level that rare combination of tools – the power, the speed, the instincts, the arm in right field – makes possible when all of it comes together at the same peak of a career.

✍️ This 16x20 photo bears Ronald Acuña Jr.'s signature in an image size that provides the visual impact of a display piece – large enough to carry the presence of the player in the frame, suitable for framing and wall display in any collection focused on the current generation of National League stars or the specific history of the Atlanta Braves organization in the era of their resurgence. Authenticated by JSA (James Spence Authentication). Condition: NOS.
