Vintage Autographed/Signed Vladimir Guerrero Baltimore Orioles Black Baseball Jersey JSA COA – Hand-Signed by the Montreal Expos and Anaheim Angels Outfielder Who Won the 2004 American League Most Valuable Player Award in His First Season in Anaheim, Was Named to Nine All-Star Teams, and Was Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018 as One of the Most Feared and Instinctual Hitters in the History of the Game, Confirmed Authentic by James Spence Authentication

⚾ The Baltimore Orioles black alternate jersey represents the final chapter of one of the most extraordinary careers that professional baseball produced in the generation between the mid-1990s and the early 2010s – the brief 2011 season that Vladimir Guerrero spent with the Orioles as the closing act of a Hall of Fame career that had taken him from the Montreal Expos to the Anaheim Angels to the Texas Rangers before arriving in Baltimore. When Guerrero signed this black Orioles jersey and James Spence Authentication confirmed the signature as genuine, the result was a signed piece that connects the final professional chapter of his career to the full body of work that had preceded it – the fifteen seasons of production that placed him among the most gifted natural hitters who ever played the game, authenticated by JSA on the black fabric of the last uniform he wore as a professional baseball player.

⚾ Vladimir Guerrero was born February 9, 1975, in Nizao, Dominican Republic – a country whose contribution to the talent pool of Major League Baseball is disproportionate to its size and whose baseball culture produces players whose love for the game is inseparable from the physical development that the Dominican academies and the Santo Domingo scouting networks have cultivated across multiple generations. Guerrero signed with the Montreal Expos as an international amateur and developed through their system into one of the most feared offensive players in the National League – a right fielder who combined tremendous arm strength with the kind of contact ability and raw power that scouts describe as once-in-a-generation tools, playing in Montreal through seasons in which the Expos' financial constraints prevented the team from building a roster around him that could compete for championships despite his individual brilliance.

⚾ His 2004 arrival in Anaheim produced the American League Most Valuable Player Award in his first season with the Angels – a recognition of a player who delivered his best hitting in a lineup that finally surrounded him with enough complementary production to support a playoff run, batting .337 with thirty-nine home runs and one hundred twenty-six RBI in his debut campaign with the franchise. His reputation for hitting pitches that no conventional batting instruction would encourage a hitter to swing at – breaking balls in the dirt, pitches off the outside corner, sliders bouncing toward the catcher's glove – and getting the kind of extra-base hits that those pitches should produce became the defining characteristic of a hitter whose raw instinct exceeded the mechanical framework that pitchers expected to exploit. Nine All-Star selections, a 2018 Hall of Fame induction, and the black Baltimore Orioles jersey that carries his autograph from the final season of that career. Condition: NOS.
