Miguel Mercado's dynamic cover style brings visual energy and emotional impact to the weight of a centennial issue and event climax — his character work captures the tension and stakes of the Joker War's conclusion. 🎢 Batman #100 is one of the most significant single issues in the modern Batman catalog — a round number centennial that also serves as the climax of Tynion and Jimenez's Joker War arc, one of the most celebrated Batman storylines of the last decade. Exclusive covers for milestone issues of this significance carry strong collector positioning.

📖 Story Context

Batman #100 closes the Joker War — James Tynion IV and Jorge Jiménez's extended arc where the Joker seized Wayne Enterprises assets and used them to fund a city-wide war against Batman. The issue delivers the arc's climactic confrontation and sets up significant status quo changes that rippled through the Batman line for years afterward. Tynion and Jiménez's run on Batman is widely regarded as one of the strongest creative periods for the title in the modern era.

Returns & Exchange

Take your time — you've got a full six months. If a piece isn't right for you, send it back the way it reached you and we're good.

In the first 30 days your money goes straight back the way you paid. After that it's store credit, so you can put it toward something you'd rather have.

Return shipping we sort out between us, case by case. I don't make this difficult.

If something arrives damaged, or it isn't what I said it was, send me a photo within 48 hours and I'll make it right.

Email info@vintageantiquesgifts.com or call 802-356-9872 — that's me answering, not a call center.

The only things I can't take back are custom or special-order pieces and gift cards.
