🎨 What Makes This Variant Special

David Nakayama's Hellfire Gala cover program across the X-Men line is one of the most celebrated bodies of exclusive cover work in the Unknown Comics catalog — his fashion-forward styling, mastery of character glamour, and compositional drama made his Gala covers visual landmarks of the entire Krakoa era. 🏰 Collecting the complete Nakayama Hellfire Gala exclusive set — standard and virgin across multiple series — creates one of the most visually cohesive and historically significant exclusive programs in the Unknown Comics X-Men catalog.

📖 Story Context

The Hellfire Gala was the Krakoa era's grandest public moment — mutantkind's coming-out party on terraformed Mars, attended by world leaders and designed to announce the achievements of the mutant nation. Excalibur #21 is Tini Howard's contribution, placing Betsy Braddock and her team at the center of the festivities in Howard's distinctive voice. Howard's Excalibur was the Krakoa era's most magic-infused and Otherworld-connected series.

Returns & Exchange

Take your time — you've got a full six months. If a piece isn't right for you, send it back the way it reached you and we're good.

In the first 30 days your money goes straight back the way you paid. After that it's store credit, so you can put it toward something you'd rather have.

Return shipping we sort out between us, case by case. I don't make this difficult.

If something arrives damaged, or it isn't what I said it was, send me a photo within 48 hours and I'll make it right.

Email info@vintageantiquesgifts.com or call 802-356-9872 — that's me answering, not a call center.

The only things I can't take back are custom or special-order pieces and gift cards.
