🏒 Framed Autographed/Signed Ed Belfour 35x39 Chicago Red Hockey Jersey JSA COA — The Authenticated Signature of "Eddie the Eagle," the Chicago Blackhawks' Two-Time Vezina Trophy-Winning Goaltender and Hockey Hall of Famer Whose Intensity Between the Pipes Defined an Era on the West Side

🏒 Ed Belfour arrived in professional hockey with the specific kind of unmistakable talent that does not require time to establish itself. He came to the Chicago Blackhawks organization out of the University of North Dakota, where he developed into one of the elite college goaltenders of his generation, and within two years he was the best goaltender in the National Hockey League — a statement confirmed not by a single award or a memorable playoff run but by the most comprehensive collection of goaltending honors a player can accumulate in a single season.

🏒 His 1990-91 NHL season was the kind of debut that changes how a franchise thinks about its future. In his first full NHL season, Belfour won the Vezina Trophy as the league's best goaltender, the Calder Trophy as the league's best rookie, and the William Jennings Trophy as the goaltender on the team allowing the fewest goals — three of the most significant awards in the sport awarded to the same player in the same year. That is the kind of season that produces reputations, and Belfour's reputation from that point forward was that he was as complete a goaltender as the league had.

🏒 He won the Vezina Trophy again in 1993 and the William Jennings Trophy again in 1993 and 1995, establishing the Chicago years as a sustained period of elite goaltending that gave the Blackhawks a foundation behind which an entire defensive structure could be built. The Chicago Blackhawks of the early 1990s were not a Stanley Cup team despite the goaltending — the window that Belfour's presence opened was not converted into championships during his time on the West Side — but the individual excellence of those seasons represents some of the finest goaltending the franchise has ever placed in net.

🏒 His career continued beyond Chicago: he went to the San Jose Sharks, then to the Dallas Stars, where he won the Stanley Cup in 1999 as the starter for a championship team that converted his goaltending into the title that the Blackhawks years had not produced. He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Florida Panthers before retiring, leaving behind a career with 484 wins — at the time of his retirement, third on the all-time NHL wins list. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011.

🏒 The eagle on his goalie mask — one of the most recognized images in hockey memorabilia — gave him the nickname "Eddie the Eagle." The intensity he brought to every period of every game, the competitiveness that was as much a part of his identity as the technical goaltending quality, made him a player that Chicago hockey fans remember not just as a good goaltender but as a presence that made the game feel higher-stakes whenever he was in net.

🏒 The Framed 35x39 Chicago Red Hockey Jersey

📋 The Chicago Blackhawks red home jersey is one of the most iconic sweaters in professional hockey — the Blackhawks' Indianhead logo on a red background, carrying the visual weight of a franchise history that runs back to 1926. Ed Belfour's signature across the front of this framed 35x39 red jersey connects his autograph to the years in Chicago when he produced the most decorated individual goaltending performance in franchise history. The JSA — James Spence Authentication — certification provides sticker, certificate, and independent registry verification, applying one of the most trusted authentication frameworks in the sports memorabilia market to a piece that represents the intersection of one of hockey's great individual careers and one of the game's most recognizable uniforms.
