🏒 Framed Autographed Glenn Hall 35x39 Chicago Red Hockey Jersey JSA COA – The JSA-Certified Hand-Signed 35x39 Professionally Framed Chicago Blackhawks Red Hockey Jersey Autographed by Glenn Hall, “Mr. Goalie,” the Hockey Hall of Famer Who Played 502 Consecutive Games Without a Single Missed Start, Pioneered the Butterfly Goaltending Style That Defines the Position Today, and Stood as the Standard of Excellence for NHL Goaltenders Through the Most Competitive Era the Position Has Ever Known

🏒 Five hundred and two consecutive complete games. From the beginning of the 1955–56 NHL season through November 7, 1962, Glenn Hall did not miss a single start in goal – playing through injuries, exhaustion, and the physical punishment that accompanied playing the most demanding position in hockey at a time when goaltenders wore no mask and the forward pressure of the game was relentless. The streak stands as the iron man record for NHL goaltenders. No one has come close to matching it. The standard exists in the record books as a document of what one goaltender's commitment to his craft looked like across seven seasons of consecutive professional hockey starts. 🏒

🏒 Hall was born October 3, 1931, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan – the Canadian Prairie province that has produced an extraordinary number of professional hockey players, reflecting the culture and infrastructure of a region where the game is as natural as the landscape. He came up through the Detroit Red Wings system, made his NHL debut, and established himself as one of the league's best goaltenders before the trade to Chicago in 1957 that would define the signature chapter of his career. In the Blackhawks red sweater, Hall became the goaltender who anchored Chicago's 1961 Stanley Cup championship – the franchise's most recent title at that time – and continued his excellence across a decade of Blackhawks hockey that established the franchise as one of the Original Six's most competitive teams. 🏆

🏒 The butterfly style. Hall did not invent the name, but he pioneered the technique – the positioning of the legs out and down in a butterfly spread that covers the bottom of the net and forces shooters to elevate, a technique that the modern game's goaltenders have embraced, refined, and made the foundational approach of contemporary professional goaltending. When the coaching staffs and goaltending instructors of the modern NHL work with young goaltenders, they are working with a style that Glenn Hall proved viable and effective across a decade and a half of professional hockey. 🏒

🏒 Three Vezina Trophies (1963, 1967, 1969). The 1968 Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player in the NHL playoffs, awarded to Hall for his performance with the expansion St. Louis Blues even as they lost the Stanley Cup Finals. Hockey Hall of Fame inductee in 1975. The Chicago Blackhawks red jersey – the iconic red sweater with the Indian head logo – carries the identity of one of the Original Six franchises and the most recognizable jersey in the sport. Hall's signature on the red sweater connects the display to his decade with the Blackhawks and to the 1961 championship that defines that era of franchise history. The 35x39 framed presentation and the JSA Certificate of Authenticity verify and complete this exceptional piece. 🏒
