Description

🏈 Framed Autographed/Signed Jim Everett 2x Passing TD Leader 35x39 Los Angeles LA Blue Football Jersey Beckett BAS COA – The Authenticated In-Person Signature of Jim Everett, Los Angeles Rams Quarterback and the Only Player to Lead the NFL in Passing Touchdowns in Back-to-Back Seasons During the Explosive Offensive Era of the Late 1980s

🏈 Jim Everett was born January 3, 1963, in Emporia, Kansas, and developed into the quarterback who turned the Los Angeles Rams into one of the most productive offensive teams in the National Football Conference during the late 1980s. He played college football at Purdue University in the Big Ten, where his arm talent and pocket presence generated the professional interest that led to the Houston Oilers selecting him with the third overall pick in the 1986 NFL Draft before a trade brought him to Los Angeles, where he would spend the most productive years of his career under head coach John Robinson in an offense that was built to put the ball in the air.

🏈 The 1988 season was the definitive statement of what Jim Everett was capable of producing. He threw 31 touchdown passes, leading the entire National Football League – a total that reflected both his arm talent and the system Robinson and offensive coordinator Ernie Zampese had built around him, a West Coast-influenced passing attack that leveraged Everett's accuracy and decision-making speed in combination with receivers who created separation from the routes the scheme designed. The Rams finished 10–6 and advanced deep into the playoffs. In 1989, Everett led the NFL in passing touchdowns again – back-to-back seasons at the top of the league's most individual offensive category, a distinction that places him in a select group of quarterbacks who have sustained that level of production across multiple seasons at the sport's highest individual passing standard. Two consecutive years leading the NFL in touchdown passes is not a product of a single good season catching defenses off guard; it is the product of a quarterback whose mechanics, preparation, and competitive intelligence were operating at the level the game's best require.

🏈 The Los Angeles Rams blue jersey connects directly to the franchise's California identity – the royal blue and gold that defined the team's visual look from their decades in Los Angeles before the franchise moved to St. Louis and eventually returned to Southern California as the reborn LA Rams. Everett's career was the Los Angeles chapter, and this 35x39 framed blue jersey carries his authenticated in-person signature, certified by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Condition: NOS.
