Description

🏒 Framed Autographed/Signed Pavel Bure 35x39 Vancouver White Hockey Jersey JSA COA – Hand-Signed by Pavel Bure, “The Russian Rocket,” the Vancouver Canucks Right Wing Who Scored 60 Goals in His First Full NHL Season, Led the Franchise to the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals, and Won Two Rocket Richard Trophies as the NHL's Leading Goal-Scorer – Displayed in a 35x39 Frame and Authenticated by JSA – Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2012

🏒 Pavel Bure was the fastest skater many people watching the NHL in the 1990s had ever seen – not just at top speed in open ice, but in the acceleration required to go from standing to full speed in the space of three strides, reaching a velocity that made him impossible to contain by any defensive structure that required a defender to match his first step. The Vancouver Canucks selected him 113th overall in the 6th round of the 1989 NHL Draft under circumstances that were immediately challenged: the eligibility question that surrounded his selection was resolved in the Canucks' favor, and what arrived in Vancouver for the 1991–92 NHL season was one of the most purely exciting forwards the game had seen since Guy Lafleur at his peak. Bure scored 60 goals in his first full season as a 21-year-old – an immediate, unambiguous confirmation of what the Canucks had drafted in that 6th round. This hand-signed Vancouver Canucks road white jersey, framed at 35x39 and authenticated by JSA, carries the signature of the player who defined the franchise in the 1990s. Condition: NOS.

🏒 The 1994 NHL playoffs produced Bure's most celebrated individual postseason performance – 16 goals in 24 games as the Canucks advanced from the first round, where Bure scored two overtime goals in Game 7 against the Calgary Flames in one of the most memorable single-game playoff performances of the decade, all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals against the New York Rangers. The series went 7 games, the Rangers won on home ice in Game 7, and the Canucks came within one game of the championship. Bure later won back-to-back Rocket Richard Trophies in 2000 and 2001 with the Florida Panthers as the league's leading goal-scorer. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012. JSA confirmed the Bure signature. Condition: NOS.
