🏀 Framed Autographed Vince Carter New Jersey Nets Navy Blue Basketball Jersey PSA/DNA COA 35x39 — Born Daytona Beach Florida, University of North Carolina, Vinsanity, 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion, The Dunk of Death at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, 8x NBA All-Star, 22 Professional NBA Seasons — Framed 35x39, Wall-Ready, PSA/DNA Authenticated

The New Jersey Nets navy blue. The road color of the Nets during the Vince Carter years — when the organization moved him from Toronto in a trade that brought one of the most electrifying players in the history of basketball to the Meadowlands and gave New Jersey five seasons of the Vinsanity that had made Raptors fans fall in love with a franchise in the first place. Signed by Vince Carter — the forward-guard from Daytona Beach, Florida who spent 22 seasons in the NBA, who won the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest in a performance that is still discussed as the most spectacular in the contest's history, and who at the 2000 Sydney Olympics performed the most famous dunk in international basketball history over the 7-foot-2-inch French center Frédéric Weis — the dunk so complete that it is known simply as "le dunk de la mort" in France. This navy blue Nets jersey, signed by Carter and authenticated by PSA/DNA, is framed at 35x39 inches and wall-ready. Vinsanity. Hang it today.

🌟 Daytona Beach, Florida — University of North Carolina — Vinsanity Begins in Toronto

Vincent Lamar Carter was born January 26, 1977, in Daytona Beach, Florida — the Atlantic coast racing city of Volusia County, the city of the 500 and the beach and the Florida sun that produces athletes year-round. He played his college basketball at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill under Coach Bill Guthridge — a program whose basketball tradition is among the most celebrated in college sports — and was selected 5th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 1998 NBA Draft, immediately traded to the Toronto Raptors as part of the Antawn Jamison deal. In Toronto, Carter invented Vinsanity — the brand of above-the-rim athleticism and creativity in the dunk lane that made the Raptors' early seasons appointment television for basketball fans who had no particular attachment to Canadian professional basketball. He made Toronto believe in the Raptors. He made the NBA believe in his air time.

🏆 The 2000 Slam Dunk Contest — The Olympics — The Nets — 22 NBA Seasons

The 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest is one of the most referenced single performances in basketball history. In Oakland, California, Carter performed a reverse windmill, an elbow dunk (hanging from the elbow in the rim), a reverse 360-degree between-the-legs slam, and a between-the-legs half-spin from the free-throw line — a sequence of dunks that left judges, media, and the Oakland Arena crowd in the position of having witnessed something that the sport had not offered before. He won unanimously. Months later at the Sydney Olympics, he elevated over French center Frédéric Weis, a 7-foot-2-inch NBA draft pick, caught a lob pass at the peak of his jump, and dunked with enough clearance that Weis did not attempt to react. France called it the death dunk. Carter was traded to the New Jersey Nets in December 2004 and spent five seasons in navy blue — 8 All-Star seasons total across his career, 22 total NBA seasons as the longest-tenured North American professional basketball player in history. This signed navy Nets jersey, authenticated by PSA/DNA, framed at 35x39, is the Nets chapter of Vinsanity. Hang it today.
