🏈 Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint Dak Prescott 2016 Panini Donruss #362 Press Proof Blue Rookie RC Football Card — Born Sulphur Louisiana, Raised Haughton Louisiana, Mississippi State University, 4th Round 135th Overall Pick 2016 NFL Draft Dallas Cowboys, 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, 4x Pro Bowl, Cowboys Franchise QB — PSA 10 GEM MINT

The Dallas Cowboys pick on day three of the 2016 NFL Draft — 135th overall, fourth round, pick 45 of the round. The name called was Dak Prescott, a quarterback out of Mississippi State who had played four college seasons and posted the most efficient back half of a college career that Cowboys scouts had seen in the class. The pick was met without fanfare. Tony Romo was the Dallas quarterback. Prescott was a developmental project, a depth piece, a draft value. Then Tony Romo fractured his back in the preseason. Dak Prescott started the 2016 regular season opener. He never gave the job back. He won the 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. He became the franchise quarterback of America's Team. This 2016 Panini Donruss #362 Press Proof Blue Rookie RC, graded PSA 10 GEM MINT, is the card that launched at the bottom of the draft board and rose to the top of the collector market.

🌟 Sulphur, Louisiana — Haughton, Louisiana — The Making of a Cowboys QB

Rayne Dakota Prescott was born July 29, 1993, in Sulphur, Louisiana — a city in the southwestern corner of the state near Lake Charles, in the flat, humid lowlands of Cajun country. He grew up in Haughton, Louisiana, a small town in the Bossier Parish of northwestern Louisiana near Shreveport. Football was the language spoken in Haughton the way it is spoken in small towns all across the American South — on Friday nights under stadium lights, in backyards on Saturdays, in film rooms with coaches who believed in the player they were developing. His mother Peggy Ann Prescott — the person who believed in him most completely — died of colon cancer in November 2013, while Dak was in college at Mississippi State. He wore her number 4 in her memory when he reached the NFL. The number on the back of every Dallas Cowboys jersey he has put on since his debut.

🏆 Mississippi State — 2016 NFL Draft — 4th Round to Franchise Quarterback

At Mississippi State University under Coach Dan Mullen, Dak Prescott played four seasons of college football and developed into one of the most experienced and efficient quarterbacks in the college game. He set Mississippi State records across multiple categories and entered the 2016 NFL Draft as a prospect with exceptional poise, pocket awareness, and dual-threat ability that scouts valued but the draft board underrated relative to other quarterbacks in the class. The Cowboys took him in the fourth round with the 135th pick. When Tony Romo's preseason injury created the vacancy, Prescott filled it with an ease and a command that silenced every question about whether a fourth-round pick could start for the Cowboys. He threw for 3,667 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions in 2016. He rushed for 282 yards and 6 touchdowns. He was named the 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He never handed the job back.

2016 Panini Donruss #362 Press Proof Blue — The Parallel — PSA 10 Gem Mint

The 2016 Panini Donruss set arrived in the football card market in the late summer of that year — the base set and its parallel tiers covering the full 2016 rookie class including Prescott, Carson Wentz, Jared Goff, and others. Card #362 is Prescott's slot in the Donruss base. The Press Proof Blue parallel is a serial-numbered limited edition version of that base card — distinctive in its blue-border presentation, scarcer than the base, and among the most collected parallels in the Donruss rookie lineup. The PSA 10 GEM MINT grade is the absolute ceiling — four corners sharp, edges clean, surface without print defect, centering within spec. The PSA slab locks that condition permanently and makes the card identifiable, gradeable, and tradable in any collector market. A PSA 10 Press Proof Blue Prescott RC is the premium version of a card from the best quarterback in the history of the Dallas Cowboys franchise.
