Offered for our first time ever - a genuine hand-tied vintage fly fishing lure from President Jimmy Carter's personal collection in a collectible 3" x 4" display case.

This is an actual fly fishing lure owned by President Carter and acquired by CutWordCo at auction from the Estate of Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter! Jimmy Carter was a fishing enthusiast with a particular passion for fly-fishing, seeking out the coastal waters of Georgia or Alaska, the Snake River or Spruce Creek in Pennsylvania, and even at Camp David while President. The flies were accompanied by a White House gift receipt noting that several dozen were presented to President Carter during his term in office.

Each glass-topped collectible display case measures 3" x 4" x .75" and contains a Certificate of Authenticity along with one (1) vintage lure with hook from the President's collection. Please handle carefully! Lure measures approximately 1". Lures are selected at random; We are unable to accommodate individual requests for specific lures.

Take your time — you've got a full six months. If a piece isn't right for you, send it back the way it reached you and we're good.

In the first 30 days your money goes straight back the way you paid. After that it's store credit, so you can put it toward something you'd rather have.

Return shipping we sort out between us, case by case. I don't make this difficult.

If something arrives damaged, or it isn't what I said it was, send me a photo within 48 hours and I'll make it right.
