This American iconic railroad was established in 1853 and primarily operated in the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. It connected greater New York and Boston in the east with Chicago and St. Louis in the Midwest, also the cities of Albany, Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, Rochester and Syracuse. New York Central Railroad was headquartered in New York City's New York Central Building, adjacent to its largest station, Grand Central Terminal. In 1968, the NYC merged with its former rival, the Pennsylvania Railroad, to form the conglomerate of Penn Central. Very neat vignette of a very busy Grand Central. This has a very limited supply available because of the limited amount made that didn't have the Hudson River RR part of it.
