Remember Bud Dry Ladies' Night? 🍺 Bud Dry T.G.I.L.N. Pinback, Thank Goodness It's Ladies' Night

Size: 2 1/8" ~ Little to no rubbing on the front.

Rare Bud Dry TGILN Thank Goodness It's Ladies' Night Pin from the 1990s! It's a square white pinback button made to be worn on the point like a diamond, with a blue diamond full of pink and aqua confetti in the middle, a yellow banner across it and the red Bud Dry script sweeping along the bottom.

2 1/8" They appear to be metal with a rubber-like coating. The back paper of some of them are rubbed with little to no rubbing on the front.

🏷️ What's Printed on It

  • T.G.I.L.N.
  • (THANK GOODNESS, IT'S LADIES' NIGHT)
  • Bud Dry ®

The back is dark paper inside the white rim, with a straight wire pin.

🍻 Why Ask Why? Try Bud Dry

Bud Dry was introduced nationally in the U.S.A. in April 1990. The process used to make Bud Dry also resulted in Michelob Dry. Unfortunately, both of these beers are now defunct. When Bud Ice was introduced in 1994 the marketing of Bud Dry ceased so these are pre-1994.

The whole dry beer idea came over from Japan, where Asahi started calling its beer karakuchi, "dry," in 1987. The trick was fermenting it all the way out so less sugar was left behind. Anheuser-Busch jumped in with Michelob Dry in 1988 and then Bud Dry, brewed with its own DryBrew process, which did well enough in test markets to go national with the slogan everybody my age remembers: "Why ask why? Try Bud Dry." For a while it was one of the three premier brands in the Budweiser family, it even played in Bud Bowl III in 1991, and Anheuser-Busch finally discontinued it in December 2010.

💃 Ladies' Night

T.G.I.L.N. is a wink at good old T.G.I.F., cleaned up to "Thank Goodness" for the occasion. These are great and fitting pieces of memorabilia for any ladies' night, and they look sharp on a jean jacket, a lanyard or in a frame with the rest of your beer pins.

Returns & Exchange

Take your time — you've got a full six months. If a piece isn't right for you, send it back the way it reached you and we're good.

In the first 30 days your money goes straight back the way you paid. After that it's store credit, so you can put it toward something you'd rather have.

Return shipping we sort out between us, case by case. I don't make this difficult.

If something arrives damaged, or it isn't what I said it was, send me a photo within 48 hours and I'll make it right.

Email info@vintageantiquesgifts.com or call 802-356-9872 — that's me answering, not a call center.

The only things I can't take back are custom or special-order pieces and gift cards.
