🐰 Seven Toons, One Bench

It's a blast to look at. TOON TEAM blazes across the top in purple and orange block letters over a neon, airbrushed stadium-lights background, and underneath it Warner Bros. crammed seven of its biggest stars onto a single locker-room bench: Road Runner, Daffy Duck and Sylvester lean in on one side, Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote stand center and right, and Tweety perches on the end - all crowded around Taz, arms folded dead center of the group. A soccer ball, basketball, football, baseball and bat are scattered at their feet on a glossy orange gym floor, mirrored in the reflection below. The Looney Tunes bullseye logo and Warner Bros. shield sit bottom center, with a small AP-28 stock number tucked in the corner.

📺 Golden-Age Cast, Nineties Art

Every character on this sheet earned their spot long before this poster was printed. Daffy goes back to 1937 and Bugs to 1940, Tweety joined in 1942, Sylvester in 1945, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner in 1949, and Taz rounded out the roster in 1954. What you're looking at is a 1990s take on a cast that was already animation royalty.

🎬 Looney Tunes, Then and Now

Looney Tunes started as a series of animated shorts back in 1930, running alongside its sister series Merrie Melodies clear through 1969, during what folks call the golden age of American animation. It came back for a revival in the late seventies, and the characters have never really left - Warner Bros. was still putting out new Looney Tunes Cartoons as recently as 2020 to 2024. Not many cartoon casts get to headline a fresh season nearly a century after they started.
