Remember Wile E. Coyote Pins? 📌 Looney Tunes Wile E. Coyote Pin, TM & © 1995 Warner Bros.

Size: 2 1/2" ~ Unopened in the original package.

This transports you right back to watching the Looney Tunes and the amazing exploits of Wile E. Coyote, who on this pin seems to have had a rough day chasing the Road Runner! There he is, hanging upside down with his ears flopped, his tongue out and a dazed look in his eyes, under a big yellow LOONEY TUNES. This is a vintage 1995 Looney Tunes pinback button, still sealed in its original bag.

🔍 What's on it

A round 2 1/2 inch button with LOONEY TUNES in big yellow cartoon letters across the top, and Wile E. upside down in the middle on a zig-zag background of hot pink and blue. Along the bottom edge, TM & © 1995 WARNER BROS. and Made in China. On the back, a plastic backing with MADE IN CHINA molded into it and a metal pin. The backs are different colors, too. I have seen blue, yellow, white, green, pink and maybe more.

🌵 Beep beep!

Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner were dreamed up by Chuck Jones and Michael Maltese at Warner Bros. in 1948, and they made their debut in the short "Fast and Furry-ous" on September 17, 1949. The early cartoons gave them fake Latin names, "Carnivorous Vulgaris" for the coyote and "Acceleratti Incredibilus" for the Road Runner, and poor Wile E. spent the next few decades ordering rockets, anvils and giant magnets from the ACME company, every one of which blew up in his face. Chuck Jones even wrote down rules for the series, like "The Road Runner cannot harm the Coyote except by going 'Beep-Beep!'" In 1982 National Lampoon ran a three-part story imagining the coyote suing ACME for all that defective merchandise, and a year after this pin, the whole gang was back on the big screen with Michael Jordan in Space Jam in 1996.

It's a perfect gift for a Looney Tunes fan, a Wile E. Coyote underdog lover, a pin collector, or anybody who grew up on Saturday morning cartoons. Pin it on a jacket or a backpack, or keep it sealed for your collection!

Returns & Exchange

Take your time — you've got a full six months. If a piece isn't right for you, send it back the way it reached you and we're good.

In the first 30 days your money goes straight back the way you paid. After that it's store credit, so you can put it toward something you'd rather have.

Return shipping we sort out between us, case by case. I don't make this difficult.

If something arrives damaged, or it isn't what I said it was, send me a photo within 48 hours and I'll make it right.

Email info@vintageantiquesgifts.com or call 802-356-9872 — that's me answering, not a call center.

The only things I can't take back are custom or special-order pieces and gift cards.
