Remember I ♥ Daffy Pins? 🦆 I ♥ Daffy, a Sealed Warner Bros. Pinback Button from 1995

Size: 2 1/2" ~ Unopened in its package.

This is a vintage 1995 Looney Tunes pin, I love Daffy, still unopened in its package! Daffy Duck is grinning ear to ear here with his bill wide open and his tongue showing, that big black head and those white eyes against a blue swirl, with a red heart and "Daffy" in white letters up in the corner. It transports you right back to watching the Looney Tunes series on a Saturday morning.

🏷️ What's Printed on It

  • I ♥ Daffy
  • TM & © 1995 WARNER BROS.
  • Made in China, and MADE IN CHINA molded into the plastic back

Backs come in different colors, I have seen blue, yellow, white and pink and maybe more. White plastic back, wire pin, still sealed in the clear bag and never worn.

😤 Woo-Woo! The Screwball Duck

Daffy made his debut in "Porky's Duck Hunt," released April 17, 1937. Tex Avery's idea was simple: Porky Pig goes hunting, and the ducks keep turning the tables on him. Bob Clampett animated the craziest one, crossing his eyes, doing cartwheels and bouncing on his head with a string of "woo-woos" dubbed in afterward, and audiences had never seen anything like it. Daffy was one of the very first of the new screwball characters that pushed out the old everyman cartoon heroes.

Mel Blanc voiced him for 52 years, 1937 to 1989, a world record for an original actor playing one animated character. Blanc figured a bill that long would trip up every "s," and that's where the famous lisp comes from. You can hear it best in Chuck Jones's "Rabbit Fire" (1951) and the rest of the hunting trilogy, where Daffy and Bugs Bunny fight over whether it's duck season or rabbit season in front of Elmer Fudd. Jones's "Duck Amuck" (1953) went into the National Film Registry in 1999, and TV Guide ranked Daffy No. 14 of the 50 greatest cartoon characters of all time.

I appreciate the classics! This one's a great gift for any Daffy fan, and it looks right at home in a shadow box, on a bulletin board, or pinned on a jacket or a backpack if you can bring yourself to open it.

Returns & Exchange

Take your time — you've got a full six months. If a piece isn't right for you, send it back the way it reached you and we're good.

In the first 30 days your money goes straight back the way you paid. After that it's store credit, so you can put it toward something you'd rather have.

Return shipping we sort out between us, case by case. I don't make this difficult.

If something arrives damaged, or it isn't what I said it was, send me a photo within 48 hours and I'll make it right.

Email info@vintageantiquesgifts.com or call 802-356-9872 — that's me answering, not a call center.

The only things I can't take back are custom or special-order pieces and gift cards.
