This Vintage New Old Stock (NOS) Cream Soda bottle cap 🥤 dates to the early‑to‑mid 1950s, a classic period in American soda history when regional bottlers and glass bottles defined the soft drink industry.

The cap features a cork liner 🪵, the standard sealing method used before plastic liners became widespread later in the decade. The ingredient ring — contains sugar, citric acid, caramel color — reflects authentic mid‑century labeling practices and helps confirm the era of production.

The “P.C.C.” marking on the skirt identifies Pittsburgh Cork & Closure Company, a major American manufacturer of cork‑lined crown caps during the 1950s. Closure suppliers like P.C.C. produced standardized caps that were distributed to independent and franchise bottlers across the eastern United States.

Cream Soda was a staple flavor during this period, commonly bottled by regional plants alongside nationally licensed brands. Unused examples with intact cork liners and clear text are becoming increasingly uncommon 📉, as most surviving caps show signs of use or liner compression.

A genuine piece of mid‑century American soda history 🇺🇸, ideal for collectors of vintage advertising, bottle caps, and beverage memorabilia.
