Step back in time with this extraordinary Vintage 1950s Plen Tee Color Apples Crate Label, a true gem shipped by the Inland Fruit Co. of Wapato, Washington — the sheet reads SHIPPED BY, and it names no printer! The brand as printed is PLEN TEE COLOR, with BRAND set separately in small black capitals beside COLOR, and this label is not just a piece of paper; it's a window into America's vibrant past!

Measuring a generous 10 1/4" x 8 3/4", this label is in remarkable condition with little to no wear, preserving its vintage charm for decades to come.

Prepare to be captivated by the stunning centerpiece of this label - a Native American maiden, symbolizing a significant chapter in American history. These iconic Native American images, once commonplace in advertising, have now become relics of the past, never to be used again in modern marketing. This isn't just a purchase; it's a thrilling opportunity to own a piece of extinct Americana that bridges the gap between past and present. Imagine the conversations this eye-catching label will spark among your friends and fellow collectors!

Crate Labels are more than just pretty pictures; they're treasured artifacts from a bygone era, growing increasingly scarce with each passing year. The impeccable lithography process used in their creation is a lost art, involving intricate stone or metal plate designs that showcase unparalleled craftsmanship. This painstaking attention to detail results in a level of quality that simply can't be replicated today. As demand for these labels skyrockets, with museums and art institutes dedicating entire galleries to their display, their value and importance in the world of art and collectibles continue to soar. Don't miss your chance to add this must-have piece to your collection!

Can you picture this remarkable slice of vintage advertising history gracing the walls of your home? Instead of being tucked away in a museum, this label can bring a touch of nostalgia, elegance, and excitement to any room. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting out, this Plen Tee Color Apples Crate Label is sure to become a cherished centerpiece in your vintage Americana collection. Don't let this unique opportunity slip through your fingers - own a piece of history today!

🍎 What the Label Actually Prints

  • PLEN TEE COLOR on three stacked lines of dimensional display capitals, with BRAND printed separately beside COLOR — the mark reads PLEN TEE COLOR BRAND
  • YAKIMA VALLEY in white capitals, directly above Apples
  • CONTENTS ONE BUSHEL — the printed net contents
  • PRODUCE OF U.S.A. at the lower left
  • SHIPPED BY / INLAND FRUIT CO. / WAPATO, WASHINGTON

Inland Fruit Co. shipped the apples — that is the word the sheet uses. No printer is named anywhere on the label. In the artwork a single very large dark-red apple sits centre-left under the brand lettering, and at the right is a bust portrait of a young woman with dark hair in two long braids under a russet beaded headband worked with a zig-zag and stud pattern, with one tan feather rising behind her head. The reverse is unprinted and carries a clear mirror bleed-through of the front.

Returns & Exchange

Take your time — you've got a full six months. If a piece isn't right for you, send it back the way it reached you and we're good.

In the first 30 days your money goes straight back the way you paid. After that it's store credit, so you can put it toward something you'd rather have.

Return shipping we sort out between us, case by case. I don't make this difficult.

If something arrives damaged, or it isn't what I said it was, send me a photo within 48 hours and I'll make it right.

Email info@vintageantiquesgifts.com or call 802-356-9872 — that's me answering, not a call center.

The only things I can't take back are custom or special-order pieces and gift cards.
