🟠 Vintage New Old Stock (NOS) 1950s Hires Draft Root Beer Bottle Cap

This unused, uncrimped New Old Stock (NOS) cork‑lined bottle cap dates to the 1950s, a period when American soda bottlers were transitioning away from cork liners toward modern materials. This example was recovered from the Baker Bottling Company in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a regional bottler that distributed Hires Root Beer during the mid‑20th century.

🥤 Hires Root Beer, first introduced in 1876, was one of the longest‑running soda brands in American history. After nearly 150 years of continuous production, the brand was discontinued in 2022 following consolidation within the Keurig Dr Pepper portfolio.

Returns & Exchange

Take your time — you've got a full six months. If a piece isn't right for you, send it back the way it reached you and we're good.

In the first 30 days your money goes straight back the way you paid. After that it's store credit, so you can put it toward something you'd rather have.

Return shipping we sort out between us, case by case. I don't make this difficult.

If something arrives damaged, or it isn't what I said it was, send me a photo within 48 hours and I'll make it right.

Email info@vintageantiquesgifts.com or call 802-356-9872 — that's me answering, not a call center.

The only things I can't take back are custom or special-order pieces and gift cards.
