This item is definitely Vintage, and I have its provenance. I even tell you where it came from in the description. I deal in NOS (New Old Stock) warehouse finds, so the whole point of most of my items is they don't look vintage. I save Americana from being destroyed as construction crews toss everything. Pallets and Pallets of things that have been stored and abandoned for decades. I find it amazing that after all the years and thousands of sales to collectors, galleries, film studios, etc., you think you have found a conspiracy and know better than all. No message she was having issues and to my messages. I would have gladly taken it back so someone else could appreciate it or if the clasp had a problem.
