Original 1970s grape crate label printed with the cooperative's name — SEQUOIA FOOTHILL FRUIT GROWERS, WOODLAKE, CALIF. 93286 — set with no verb beside it at all, so the sheet does not say what part they played; its only printing credit is an imprint on the pale blue bottom border that will not resolve at the magnification available.

This label measures 12 1/2 inches × 4 inches and was used on California grape cartons during the later years of the cooperative’s operation.

The label shows little to no wear, with strong original color and clean edges. Stored flat and well preserved.

Sequoia Foothill Fruit Growers was founded in 1922 as a cooperative serving foothill growers in Tulare County. The organization operated for more than six decades before its charter was terminated in 1982, leaving behind a range of distinctive agricultural packaging and branding.
